Most every week at St. James we have youth group on Sunday and Thursday nights and it seems like we always have some sort of special event or retreat happening!  These are times for fun, sharing our lives, diving into God's word and discussing faith & real life.

 CROSSROADS (grades 9-12)

Sunday Nights at St. James from 6:30-8:00

This special time just for those in High School is full of games, worship and diving into faith, life and the Bible!  Our focus during this time is to dive DEEP into understanding God's Word and applying it to our lives! 

Fall 2010 is all about answering the question: Why do I believe what I believe?  Bring your doubts, your questions, and your openess to learning from God!! 

The EDGE (grades 6-8)

 Thursday Nights from 6:30-8:00pm at St. James.

This special time just for those in Middle School is full of games, worship and diving into faith, life and the Bible!  Our focus during this time is to build relationships with each other and with God, in a safe, healthy community!

Fall 2010 is all about getting an overview of the Bible.  Did Moses come before or after Jesus?  Why does it even matter to your life? 

Grapple (grades 6-8)

Sunday mornings during both services for those in grade 6-8 we have GRAPPLE!  After the children's sermon, make your way to the youth room for a time of Grappling with our faith--together!

Chicks for Christ (High School Girls)

On Friday nights from 5:30-7:00 join a group of high school girls in the office area at St. James as we look at the prophecies of Christ and how only Jesus fulfills them.  Is Jesus who he said he was?  Only one way to find out!!

Attending any SJ Youth Event where we start out at St. James and travel somewhere else?  This would mean a camp, retreat, destination X, etc.  Please fill out the waiver below!  You must fill one out for each event.

 What's Coming Up!!  

September 12-- High School Back-to-School Party! Come enjoy a BBQ, lawn games, and being together at Michael Arney's home from 6:00-8:00.  Address:  6109 W. Cross Drive, Littleton.  Bring a side dish (fruit, veggies, chips to share!). 

 September 16-- Middle School Kick-off Party!

Come enjoy a BBQ, lawn games, and being together at Taylor Fellow's home.  From 6-8pm at the Fellows’ home we will play, eat and have a ton of fun together!  5906 Blue Sage Way, Littleton. Bring a side dish (fruit, veggies) or dessert to share!  Families are invited to stay if they would like!

Oct. 15-16: Middle School Lock-in / out, 7pm-8am
Oct. 23: Halloween Party, 7-10pm.
Nov. 19-20: Dare to Share Retreat for High School
Feb. 4-6: High Altitude Retreat (High school) @ Frontier Ranch
Feb. 25-27: Snowbound Retreat (Middle School) @ Frontier Ranch

 

Scholarships are always available, no matter how big or small the event!  Don't let money be the reason you don't go- talk to Julie with any questions.
